I was curous to see what people on Ikonboard were talking about so I went to http://forums.ikonboard.com/ And got this... quote:

Of course the fix that was proposed will not do a damn thing - but A: I've been in that position so I haven't anything bad to say B: Once someone is in the code and fixing that trouble spot I would imagine they will add more then a check for http://

All forum software (and that includes vB too) has been infected by some security bug one time or another. In particular, problems related to [img] have been posted and discussed many times on BugTraq.
